What's the hardness rating mean?
Sure-Grip Uses the "A" rating when giving a wheel its hardness rating. Their are several different ways to measure the hardness of a material, 12 in fact. The most common are "A" and "D." "A" is used for softer material and "D" for harder material. In roller skating the higher the number the harder the wheel. Outdoor wheels typically are between 78A - 88A, indoor wheels are typically between 90A - 100A.

What type of material are your wheels made out of?
Sure-Grip use a material called Poly BD in their Fugitive, Power, Power Plus, and Interceptor wheels; its a material that was developed 20 years ago but just seems to work the best in roller skating. Its a material that has high rebound, good grip and good wear. Their are two easy ways to tell if a wheel is truly made from Poly BD. One, the material has a distinct smell, in a way it smells bad. Two, tiny bubbles or holes will appear throughout the wheel.

Whats the hardness of my wheels?
Sure-Grip offers many different types of wheels, each are manufactured for a specific purpose. With this in mind it is important to note that the hardness number alone does not necessarily mean that the wheel will be that soft or that hard. but to answer the question; Fugitive wheels:
Black, Blue, Pink, and Red are 92A; Purple is 94A; Green is 96A.
Interceptor:
Black, Pink, Blue, Red, Yellow are 93A: Purple, Green are 97A
Power Plus:
Same as Interceptor

What's the difference between the metal hub and plastic hub?
Sure-Grip offers 3 wheels that feature an aluminium hub, they are the Power, Power Plus, and the Interceptor. All our other wheels feature a nylon hub. The difference is simple, one is harder than the other, which will in turn make the wheel itself feel harder. A wheel that is 95A will feel harder on an aluminium hub than on a nylon hub.

What wheel should I use for Roller Derby?
The wheel of choice in Roller Derby is the Fugitive wheel. The smaller nylon hub allows for more urethane to be poured around the hub, thus giving a softer feel. Among skaters the colour of choice is the Blue Fugitive which is the softer of the colours.

What wheel should I use for Jam Skating?
Jam Skating, due to the type of skating that is being done we recommend using our Sure-Grip Power wheel. The aluminium hub offers the strength needed while being light weight. Utilizing a small core design allows for more urethane to be poured around the core which will absorb the forces associated with Jam Skating. A Power Plus or Interceptor wheel is not recommended, that wheel was designed for speed skating only.

The European Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 say that you have the right to cancel an order without giving a reason within 7 days.

On Enemite, you can cancel an order within 7 days for a full refund. If your order has already been despatched when we receive your cancellation, we will deduct the cost of shipping from your refund.

You may exchange unused and unopened products within 30 days for alternative items.

Unless items are defective, you return them to us at your expense. Alternatively, you may arrange for us to collect the goods from you, but a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods.

All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be returned within (10 days) after receiving the item. If you have any questions about the restocking fee as it pertains to your order please call us before we ship the product as once it leaves the warehouse we have incurred our cost.

The returned product must be in new and unused condition, in the original box with all the documentation, parts and accessories to insure full credit. "New and unused" means sale-able condition, not dirty and not washed. We cannot accept returns for an item with any indications that it has been used.

You may exchange products for any reasons for up to 30 days after purchase as long as your products are unused and unopened.

If you have ordered something by mistake, or simply decide that you don't want it, you may return it to us at your expense for a replacement within 30 days.

Defective Items

If the product is defective, please give a full description of the fault and return it in its original box with all manuals and accessories for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase.

All returned products are tested and will be sent back to you if they are working.

Refunds

Please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send it to the address below.

If you are returning an item because it is defective, or because of a mistake on our part, please contact us and return to the address below.

You do not need to return your item by Special Delivery or Recorded Post. Please obtain a certificate of posting.
