4X Construction, Similar in many ways to X-Flex, but instead designed for skating fast and holding lines through corners. With 4X we use two layers of Bi-Axial Wet Laminate Glass, one layer in from the surface of the layup as per X-Flex, but the top layer of glass (closest to the grip tape) is laid at 45 degrees to the length of the deck providing less torsional flex. The deck now has fibres running diagonally across the deck, adding stiffness. This translates to better tracking in corners, an ultra responsive ride and more control when drifting or sliding. Choosing your skateboard deck size
The deck is the board part of the skateboard. This skateboard deck sizing chart is meant for beginner and intermediate skateboarders - it's not a hard rule, but a guide to help if you want it.
Compare the skater’s height to this chart:
Under 4’ = 29” or smallerFor your skateboard’s width, it all depends on how big your feet are. Most skateboards are around 7.5” to 8" wide, but can be wider or narrower. If you have larger feet, get a wider skateboard deck.
4’ to 4’10” = 29” to 30” long
4’10” to 5’3” = 30.5” to 31.5” long
5’3” to 5”8” = 31.5” to 32” long
5”8” to 6’1” = 32” to 32.5” long
Over 6’1” = 32.4” and up
Once you have the basic size in mind, you can tweak it a little depending on what you want to do with your board. If you want to skateboard transition or vert, if you want to ride a lot of ramps or spend most of your time riding at the skate park, then a wider board is a good choice (8” wide or more). If you want to ride around streets more, and do more technical tricks with your board then try to keep it under 8” wide. If you are looking for a skateboard to cruise around on, and don’t plan on branching into tricks too much, then a bigger, wider board is always better.
These are only guidelines. Feel free to tweak these sizes as much as you want! One final note to parents – making sure your son or daughter likes the graphics on the skateboard deck you pick out is very important! It might seem silly or petty, but getting the wrong brand, or a picture that he or she doesn’t like can mean the difference between them being excited to ride the board, and embarrassed.

On Enemite, you can cancel an order within 7 days for a full refund. If your order has already been despatched when we receive your cancellation, we will deduct the cost of shipping from your refund.
You may exchange unused and unopened products within 30 days for alternative items.
Unless items are defective, you return them to us at your expense. Alternatively, you may arrange for us to collect the goods from you, but a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods.
All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be returned within (10 days) after receiving the item. If you have any questions about the restocking fee as it pertains to your order please call us before we ship the product as once it leaves the warehouse we have incurred our cost.
The returned product must be in new and unused condition, in the original box with all the documentation, parts and accessories to insure full credit. "New and unused" means sale-able condition, not dirty and not washed. We cannot accept returns for an item with any indications that it has been used.
